Creative Expression - Talk to the World and Get Your Healing!
People watching is a glimpse into personal creative expression. The way we dress, wear our hair - the way we decorate ourselves with jewelry, tattoos, colors. We are speaking to the world, telling our story, who we are or want to be.
You don't have to be an artist, songwriter, singer or actor to be considered creative. Each of us has a special way to tap into our creative energy.
And tap into it you must because it will support you through many things. Particularly sadness and tough times. When things get hard as they always do, expressing your sadness, fear or frustration is a path to becoming well. A way to find some light in dark places. Creativity is another voice within you. One that can speak in ways that you may not be able to verbalize.
But the real beauty in creativity is it is also there to express your joy and delight. Your curiosity and musings. You can share positivity and goodness. The essence of you resides in this place, enabling you to convey what's inside your heart, your thoughts, your desires and dreams.
Creativity is healing and nourishing. And whether you think you are creative or not, the gift is there. Individual and unique only to you.
So in whatever way your gift is expressed, don't be afraid to let it be seen. Don't be afraid to try new ways to say what's inside. Write it, wear it, take photos, sing it, sew it, paint it! Just try everything!
It's the outlet you need and guess what? Other people need to see and hear what you're saying too. You are going to help someone. They are going to feel better, you will help them get through a tough time. Your message will spark something in someone else that will be the catalyst for them to creatively express themselves and this amazing cycle can continue
Don't ever say you're not creative. You can create anything and what comes out of you has purpose and meaning to us.
I, for one, can't wait to see what you come up with! So post pics on our Facebook page or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll share you with a bit of the world!
